Boba Bear is a playful bubble-tea brand blending kawaii energy with a premium, modern finish. I designed the core identity (mascot + wordmark), cup graphics, POS kit, and social templates to feel cute yet bold enough to read at street distance and in-hand.

scope of work
Create a memorable mascot brand that’s unmistakably a bear (not a panda), reads instantly on cups and signage, and scales across flavors, stickers, and digital content.
Challenges and Solutions
Panda vs. Bear confusion: We shifted to a clearly black bear; rounder ears, lighter muzzle, happy tongue, and anime features, while retaining the sipping pose for category clarity.
Readability on clear cups: High-contrast #171C00 logomark, bold midline placement, and simplified pattern density improved visibility through ice and milk foam.
Scalable flavour system: Built a color-agnostic base with removable/print-on-demand flavor stickers and seasonal sleeves so operations stay flexible.
Imagery:
Mascot: Cute black bear with lighter muzzle, fluffy cheeks, tongue-out, anime eyes, sipping a cup with pearls; optimized for flat color, stickers, and embroidery
Shape and Layout:
Pattern: Doodle icons (pearls, leaves, cups, tapioca, hearts) in low-contrast gray for cups, lids, and wraps
Colors:
Primary: Night Matcha #171C00 (ink-black green for premium contrast)
Accent: Neon Pear (fresh lime for pop)
Neutrals: Soft white and warm gray for pattern and text balance
Typography:
Logo: Chunky brush “BOBA” + friendly script “BEAR” (legible at small sizes)
System: Rounded geometric sans for menus, price dots, and nutrition minis
